Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show 2003
The stand was designed by David Kirkpatrick and sponsored
by Nubrik.
Ashburton Nurseries provided the plants and the lighting was supplied
by Landscape Lighting.
The stand incorporated three ponds with a pathway rolling through
these. The planting provided magnificent colour and added to the feature
of the stand.
The lighting in the garden was a feature of the twighlight sessions,
adding texture to the Nubrik paths, retaining walls and ponds. The
features of the garden's foliage, the white flowers of the Cyclamens
and the red and orange leaves of the Cercus Forest Pansy, was effectively
picked up by the lighting.
Of course the water features were the most eye catching and the water
features and foliage was dramatic with soft lighting provided by submerged
spotlights.
